Raise your hand if your child is spending more time right now in front of the television or smartphone than outdoors. That way they can make sure to bring some dollars and quarters along with them.)

Chores are another great way to help your children earn some extra money over summer. While you might have chores that are standard and need to be done every day, give your little one extra chore opportunities so that he or she can earn spending money. After the chore is complete, give your child payment. That way, he or she will associate the chore with money and make less of a fuss about it next time—once a job is done, money is earned!
